They are loose around the legs but hug your hips, butt, and waist snug. These run a little longer than I expected. When I bought them I was scared to get a petite large because I thought they would be too short. For reference I am 5’4 and without shoes these go over my feet but they are made for a looser fit. With some sneakers they touch the ground a little bit but not to the point where you’d be stepping on them or anything, or as bad as when you’re barefoot. Lol Anyways they are still a really cool pair of jeans and they have a cute brown patch on the back pocket that is engraved wonderful on them.
