From the porcelain factory in Limoges France. 8 1/2" in diameter. Casserole is 4" deep. No chips or cracks however there are signs of age and use such as minor loss of gilding on the lid knob.

@mrszwood Everything I have read says yes but because of the gilding on the outside, I personally would be mindful of anything being baked on that would need to be scrubbed off.....That's just me. I'm sure it could be cleaned gently...but not in the dishwasher! I hope this helps. it's a beautiful dish.
