Denmark Little Mermaid Broken Ceramic Pendant, Sodalite Encased with Metalwork

Denmark Little Mermaid Broken Ceramic Pendant, Sodalite tube and encased in Boho Metalwork. For this piece, I used a vintage ceramic, Denmark Little Mermaid Icon Mug. I also attached a Sodalite Tube bead that spins. I used a boho-style metalwork to cage and bond everything together. I used black patina to give it an old look and the straps are real leather, also hand, wire-wrapped. The Solder material is made to stay forever shiny but can lose some of its sheen. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen. It will not turn your skin green! It is an Alloy: 96% Tin / 4% Silver, it’s safe and lead free and nickel free! I design all my pieces by using mixed media art and incorporating mainly vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old, hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo.
