The last cropped photo shows the hasp in part of a combination lock but that is only to be able to show the hasp a bit more clearly. Color is probably called polished nickel There are no attaching nails but your local shoe/luggage repair person should have them It looks new but since I'm not completely sure, I'm listing it as pre=owned to err on the side of caution.
