Heavy Large 12" African Theme Elephant Giraffe Zebra Rhino Decorative Bowl

The decorative bowl / plate weighs 3.5 pounds and is 12 inches in diameter. The bowl features paintings of giraffe, zebras, rhinos, and elephants. We think this item is made of soapstone but we are unsure. It's definitely not plastic, wood, or ceramic. There is a small chip on the back side of the bowl. The previous owner received it as a gift after a family member had visited Africa. We are unsure of which country it originated from.
