dressedtokill58 Hi, you are a real go-getter and aggressive to boot… Lol 😅 not going to get those shoes after all. I would never change the heel out and put the heel on my other shoes. I would want to do it, but not likely to actually get around to it. you are a real go-getter and I am not.🙁 i’m trying to get better at being more aggressive toward financial freedom and other areas that need improvement but it is getting harder the older I get. lucky645 @dressedtokill58 thank you so much for responding. The problem on Poshmark is that nobody answers you back they put items in a bundle I give them an offer and they don’t even decline. I’m willing to work with everyone because I’m looking to get rid of my inventory so it is such a pleasure to have you respond back to me and I really understand.💜

dressedtokill58 @lucky645 I totally know what you mean. That has happened to me also. You know a lot of times it’s just cause I don’t have the money that I don’t buy stuff. I get paid once a month and when that’s gone I’m broke. I try to make money on here, but sales are far and few between.

dressedtokill58 @lucky645 I have 1000 items that I could photograph and list but I am just about as lazy as the day is long. That’s the only explanation I can come up with,🤷🏼‍♀️ for some reason I just have a block in my head that prevents me from becoming a good seller. My mom died in November, and that crushed me for a while, but even before that I was having trouble making myself be productive on Poshmark.

dressedtokill58 I don’t wanna make myself sound bad.🙆🏼‍♀️ it’s just that I never really wanted to do this in the first place. My daughter is doing this very part time. She has a full-time job. And she wanted me to do this also. So I’ve gotten up all this inventory, but I just don’t have the drive to do it. Of course I’m happy when I sell something, but it doesn’t motivate me to do more..🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ any suggestions???

lucky645 @dressedtokill58 principal I’m sorry about your mom‘s passing. My mom is 92 and has dementia Alzheimer’s and she’s a vegetable and her four daughters all take turns taking care of her and it’s just a matter of time. I sell because I’m retired and I have no income coming in so that motivates me to make money. It’s not easy I try to push my sales and I don’t know if there’s a better way to do it?

lucky645 How many advice I can give you is share your closet often reduce your prices have specials take great pictures with a white background, and give as much information as possible🙏

dressedtokill58 @lucky645 My mom didn’t have anything wrong with her. She just died suddenly. She must’ve had a weak heart. She was not active physically she had not been for years. So I’m not surprised her heart got weak. My Step Dad is 92. getting ready actually to turn 92 in three days. Nice that you guys get to take care of her

dressedtokill58 @lucky645 yeah, well I usually photograph in our home, which is quite beautiful 🤩 and so the background seems to be good. I don’t understand the advantage of a white background? Anyway, I put in to do a live show. I’m going to sell books and record albums. I’m going to do it very uniquely, so you’ll have to check me out when I get it going.

lucky645 @dressedtokill58 sorry to hear I follow one girl her name is Jenny finds097 and she starts all of her bids at three dollars? But people buy and she encourages them to bundle and then she does the raffle they wanna spend $20 or more I don’t know what her deal is. I don’t know where she gets her stuff. I go all over flea markets, Tag Sale’s goodwill, Salvation Army swap meetS!

I have a lot of stuff that I inherited from my mom‘s estate that I will be parting with, but my Dad asked me not to sell her stuff until he’s gone. I don’t know what that has to do with anything, but I am basically obeying him..

dressedtokill58 @lucky645 I told my daughter not to start out at five dollars or anything that low, because you can’t make any money and a lot of things are in storage 5 miles away. I told her to aim for a better clientele by selling things at a reasonable price, but not letting things go for super cheap. Then you got a lot of people on there that are just a bunch of cheapies.

lucky645 @wingedwearables I am able to get a hotel reservation at resident inn in Riverhead Long Island with my husband’s government discount so it only cost us about $160 a night and we only go for three or four days just to unwind and go to the beach and they have a Tanger Outlet so I can go shopping, Yay💜 hope the weather is good because I think this has been the worst summer so far🙏

wingedwearables Good for you. Hope the “Canadian” smoke is abated. I live on the Neuse River ( part of the Pimlico Sound) about 1.5 hours from the Outer Banks… but as a childless widow and partially disabled, I no longer go anywhere. My family( what’s left ) are wide spread from northern Michigan to Poland, Turkey and Belize 🙆‍♀️

lucky645 @wingedwearables I’m so sorry to hear, but I do find as we get older it’s inevitable to not be disabled in one way or another! I had breast cancer 10 years ago thank God I’m in remission right now& I am still married. My husband had some health issues with an aortic dissection. He’s lucky to be alive, but we do pray and try to stay healthy. I have one daughter I walk with a cane I’m 70 years old and I just do the best I can. I have many friends and I feel that’s the trick to being happy!
