@revlts The seller pays the offered discounted portion. The buyer picks up the balance. If free shipping is offered by the seller then the seller pays the full shipping. I hope this helps.

@jewelryjunkie3 I figured it had to be something like that. I had several likes and then made an offer and I was unliked. I suppose that’s normal. Is there any rule of thumb on how long you should wait after someone likes your item to make them an offer? Maybe my likes were mercy likes. Lol

@revlts There is no rule of thumb for offers on likes. Some poshers will like a listing for the sake of liking it without wanting to buy it. However some sellers will make an offer quickly and take a chance. You never know unless you try. It’s up to you and after awhile you’ll get a feel for what you want to do. 😊

@revlts Hi. You can put your account on vacation hold by going to “my sellers tools”. Your listings will show “not for sale” for the duration of your specific vacation time. Once you are back the hold is off and you can begin selling. For the posh parties I would highly recommend you go to FAQ’s for info on them. I can’t give it all here. They are a great way to buy and sell...just up to you. You seem to be getting the Poshing idea vey nicely. Thank you for reaching out. 🌺

Is there a way to share your closet to followers all at once rather than item by item, which is slow and tedious!?! gold and silver, I have a 18 inch diamond cut rope that would be great for pendants, it is 18 inches long, it has a braclett to match, I will share with you and I have an oval neck cuff that fits better for pendants.

@silverlady1986 sterling is what I have. I measured my neck and it is 15.5 inches I was thinking something 18 inches. I have several chains but they don’t seem quite right. I was thinking of something more rigid. But I don’t really know what is used for pendants and enhancers.

THE other was a solid neckcuff that was OVAL and hooked in the back. I just found a 18 inch solid

Linda, did you get my message about the foxtail chain, if you wanted, I can check my findings to see if I can add sterling silver jump rings to the clasp to make it longer, I did this all the time when I had my Sterling business, I also just found in my personal inventory, a 20" 2mm diamond cut solid rope, I will list it shortly and share it with you.

Linda, I went through my inventory and I found the perfect snake necklace it's a 3mm 20 INCH,
SOLID weighing 18 GRAMS, but I am going to give it to you, this was a piece that came through with a flaw in the chain, I remember I didn't want to return it, so I just put it away, but I think you can get alot of wear from it, the omega you put in the bundle is for smaller lightweight pieces, but it is coming with two pendants. In our first sale you advised me that the omega was small, or maybe lightweight is a better word and that it would only be suitable for small pendants. That is why I went with the 3mm snake which I truly love. I am interested in the 20” snake but I am willing to purchase it. You don’t have to give it to me. What is the flaw?

Actually- you may be able to find one for about the same price on gapfactory.com (gap makes old navy) they always have discounts and coupons and I believe if you sign up with your email they will send you a coupon as well! I believe if you spend $50 right now you may also get gap cash which you can use on gap and gap factory! Old navy is doing the same thing at the moment with the old navy cash- spend $50 and get $20 to spend staring the beginning of June!

@rosierecycles I totally understand that. I’m a top 10% sharer. I always try to share 3 items from each closet. When I share more than 3 it means I’m seriously into what that posher is selling. And it gets dangerous, as often I find something to buy. I started selling to cover the expense of my buying. 😬🙄😂 another posher called it trading dollars. But I’ve had fun with it, and so I continue and keep trying to give better than I get.

@silverlady1986 good to hear from you Peggy! Hope you and hubby have been well. I was wondering what you know about the new tax law that sales over $600 = a 1099. Several of my Posh friends have closed their closet due to this. I was wondering if this was for wholesalers not for the rest of us selling used stuff? Do you know? Could really change the face of on-line selling.

Linda, so good to hear from you. yes, this tax law will affect all of us. I talked to my accountant and he said that anyone selling $600 up will have to file a 1099, pay self employment taxes and according to your tax brackett pay more. I had already sold that much before I knew that, so I will be selling this year and see what this will mean for me.

@revlts I have enough for 10 more lifetimes,after 25 years in the sterlimg business, I thought I had to have almost everything that came through, I would never wear something and put it back in the cases so I would keep it, my two daughters-in-law have almost as much as me, everytime they said oh, mother, I love that, they got it, I have given so much to family and friends, but still need to liquidate more, if your ever looking for something in particular, let me know, I might have it.

Linda, I got a new chain listed for you to look at, it a beautiful 30 inch 925 solid sterling box chain from Italy, I love my longer chains, I think this would be perfect for her prayer box pendant, just enough patina to add beauty to her prayer box. I also added two pictures of the cuff you are interested in, the last pictures in my listing, my hands and arms look terrible, but the cuff is beautiful, let me know what you think. The cuff is very adjustable.
