ITEM DESCRIPTION: this is a new estate piece from 1947… New in box… Was never used… be aware there is a beautiful sticker on the reverse of the plaque stating who this was created in memory of… I took it out of the gift/presentation box to plug it in for the photos. Selling “as is” —- I can find no discernible faults or issues… It is in perfect condition. This is a WALL plaque in matte gold finish on metal… Entitled “ THE GUIDING LIGHT” from 1947… A HOLY FAMILY LIGHTED wall plaque… Electric IN Perfect condition… Operates perfectly… Lights from overhead with a standard night light bulb. Bottom tray for rosaries and holy metals. Beautiful holy image of the holy family - -Joseph Mary, and child Jesus… Appears to be lithographed directly onto the Matt goldtone finish metal. Has an on /off round (toggle) turning switch… “U L “ labeled 6 foot cord. Dimensions are 13 inches tall, 9 inches wide, one and 1/2 inch deep. Has an original paper envelope with an instruction sheet and a “tool” to assist with changing the lightbulb. Most endearing is a paper label on the reverse from the URBAN FUNERAL HOME in Western New York. IT IS MARKED 1947 AND THE NAME MARY ANN KOMINAIEK. This is all in a gift/presentation box. This Holy Family plaque will be a stunning addition to a Christian dedicated home or office or cleric’s room. Will surely become a truly treasured family heirloom for many generations to come.
