A true "Who rescued whom". In 2013, he was scheduled to be euthanized 4 days in a row (due to lack of space in the shelter) & volunteers rallied for his life. I had just had a brain tumor removed & wouldn't leave my apt. My then roommate suggested it was time for another dog (my previous dog died the year before). He got me out & helped my physical & mental health! ❤ Pets are awesome!

Oh my word! What a beautiful pittie with an equally beautiful "gotcha" story! I'm so glad you were able to save each other. I rescued my girl 15¾ years ago, she's now 16, and I still sometimes ask "who rescued who?".

........(I'm an "adopt, not shop", it was a one-time thing, she was spayed asap). They are my life, I can't imagine my life without them, it's hard to think about, especially at their ages. @livelikecoco Hercules is the boss, lol! They all get along. Hercules is a cool Chihuahua, not really yappy & gets along with every dog, person, & child that comes along (as does Mozart- although he's a racist & doesn't like huskies 🤷🏼♀️).

Oh my goodness I LOVE this story!! Who saved who?!? Love it!! Love the photos with the kisses all over them too!!! My teenage daughter and I love dogs and animals. She volunteers at the local SPCA animal shelter every weekend, she’s there now actually! Years ago, My mom put down my favorite dog without telling me. I was SO UPSET & heartbroken and still am. I did wedding photography for over a decade and took some FUN photos of people’s dogs!! Like SUPER CUTE pit pulls dressed in a party tutu for their Birthday! @bethmgold yes - love the whole rescued who question! We always had strays or rescues growing up- sometimes pups, sometimes older dogs. Good natured, loving wonderful friends (sometimes food dominance/anxiety due to hardships of the past I’d guess). Loved them all!!

My Chihuahua can be a handful. Since he went blind recently, he has no sense of time & pees all the time. I just keep a belly band (male diaper) on him all the time. He's also very attached to me. It's to the point that he cries very loudly when I'm not home. CBD may be in his future. lol
