VINTAGE BICENTENNIAL FENTON PATRIOTS BELLS 1776-1976CHOCOLATE SLAG and RED SLAG

These handcrafted Limited addition patriots Bells has been designed by Fenton to commemorate the bicentennial of the United States of America ~the four historical persons whose cameo portraits are embossed on the bell were chosen because of the significant role each played in the emergence of this great nation ~representative remarks of each of these persons about liberty and independence are included in the booklet . Also attached is the original Fenton decal . Bell is signed and stamped at the top of the inside of the bells . See photos. This handcrafted patriots bell was made on a limited basis in the valley forge white and antique chocolate glass ~chocolate glass was first developed by Jacob Rosenthal in 1901 ~he joined Fenton in 1906 as a glass maker this glass has been re-created for this historic occasion ~on December 31, 1976 when the bicentennial took place the mould for the bell was destroyed forever. The other is RED SLAG GLASS EXCELLENT CONDITION TO BOTH NO CHIPS CRAZING ANY DENT IS FACTORY (see photo of edge ) ATTACHED TAG SHOWS A BIT OF AGE AND HAS A TEAR AT THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FOLD(appr one inch) ONLY ONE TAG AND ONE LABEL
