Vintage 1960 Whitman combination Checkers with 5 other board games included. Game is in excellent condition with reversible instructions on back of game board. 24 black and red plastic checkers included. 100% complete. See photos for details. Whitman 1960 Checkers is a classic version of the traditional game of checkers. The game consists of a square board with 64 squares, alternating in color between light and dark. Each player starts with 12 pieces, which are placed on the dark squares on one side of the board. Players take turns moving their pieces diagonally, trying to capture their opponent's pieces by jumping over them. The goal of the game is to capture all of the opponent's pieces or to block them from being able to make any further moves. The other games include Fox and Geese, Give Away, Shifting Pyramids, Corner Checkers and Goban. A great game combination in wonderful condition for its age. Stored in smoke free environment.
