Women's Levi's 701S Trouser Style Jeans Y2K 33 W 16 5 Pocket Trouser style Pockets Medium Weight Denim 100% Cotton Straight Leg 10.5" High Rise Inseam measures out to 31.5" Made in Hong Kong - Think these date to 2008 but im garbage at reading date codes. At first I thought they were 1992....the levi's website is also on the tag so no. I took a good closeup maybe one of you can help me out. If they are more awesome than I thought let me know. Style is not on the hip tag as is common with women's levi's when I looked up the 701S it brought up many expensive selvedge jeans - no signs these are selvedged. Bit of history as It took me a long time to not find out much on these. The 701 is a 30's Style, the original on the waist tag means they were modeled off of the original cut. Bit barrel leged and high waisted especially for Y2k (the decade of the muffin top). The 701 was the first womens cut jeans by Levi's so that makes them a bit cooler still. Very good used condition no flaws found.
