bohofabfinds Are the liquid blue shirts? You don’t have pictures of the tags in any of your listings. Thanks!

texasglitter_ @bohofabfinds These are all liquid blue vintage. I don't show the tags because I measure everything by armpit to armpit inches. Sometimes labels are wrong. If you look on the bottom front of this shirt, you can see their logo. I also don't have time to take pictures of every shirt. It's not necessary, they are all liquid blue.

texasglitter_ @bohofabfinds Also vintage shirts are not stamped on the neck like current shirts are. Back then, they put the whole shirt in, and even got the tags tie dyed.

bohofabfinds @texasglitter_ is there an actual paper tag that says Liquid Blue on these?

texasglitter_
texasglitter_ @bohofabfinds No, as I explained, that is not how vintage shirts were sold, these are from 1994 and some earlier. Even buying straight from Liquid Blue as I do w/ the newer shirts, the only "mark" they have on the shirt is on the back of the neck and it's stamped in ink. They do not come w/ tags. If you buy any yourself from them retail, they might add them, but I doubt it. I have sold these shirts from the Mountain, and Liquid blue for over 30 years, and never have had tags like that.

texasglitter_ @bohofabfinds I'm not sure why you need a paper tag? Retailers have to do it for checking out purposes, but t shirt companies don't want any markings through their cotton. So retailers usually put the price tag under the arm pit or through the label. They don't have that on liquid blue, even on their website, they show 0 tags

texasglitter_ @bohofabfinds I just did a google search of their site, none of their shirts have tags on them. The whole site does not.

bohofabfinds @texasglitter_ you might want to do a bit of research on Liquid blue shirts. The shirts with an old liquid Blue tag are worth significantly more than when it is stamped on the shirt. That’s why when you scroll listings you will notice the shirts with old paper Liquid blue tags are listed much higher. Thanks.

texasglitter_ @bohofabfinds Oh now I get what you mean. OK, so on the shirts I have most of them are the older version, with the tie dyed tags, I got a batch of "newer" ones, and they have it stamped, but the older versions all have just the size tag. The reason I was not posting them, is that sometimes the inches on the shirt don't match the tag and I don't want people telling me it does not fit according to size.. It's tricky to sell because of that.

texasglitter_ @bohofabfinds Thanks for letting me know what you were asking for, I guess I can go back and take photos of a few tags for that reason. I did not get that detail at all. I don't really "collect shirts, I just sell whatever I have been able to buy.

texasglitter_ @bohofabfinds OK I updated a bunch of them w/ the tags. Thank you for letting me know why this matters. Inside my old store, it never did because people were seeing them right there.

texasglitter_ @bohofabfinds Aww thank you. I have sold my entire life as a small business. I had physical stores until COVID, then I lost everything and could not keep my store open. I kept certain things so I could sell on line, but the rest 3000 square feet went to an auction. I was devastated, so I am learning how different it is to sell on line. SO much I did not know. I am thankful for the help and what people need to understand when they are buying. Thank you so much.
