Antique Brass Cloisonne Enamel Chinese Tea Caddy Champleve Round Box Vintage

This Antique / Vintage Chinese Tea Caddy / Covered Cloisonné Box is truly beautiful with its champlevé enamel and intricate architecture pattern. Circa 1900 - 1930s. The caddy has 10 panels around the base featuring camels along the Great Wall of China. The lid has a decorative enameled border and four panels flanking a central medallion as well as a blue glass ball bead as knob. The colors are exquisite: warm brass with aged patina paired with bright cobalt blue enamel detailing and bead knob. Glossy turquoise enameled interior. Sits on four brass feet. A stunning decorative item as well as useful Trinket Dish, Stash Box, or even a humidor. Measures just under 7” diameter by about 3.5” tall. Excellent overall condition with some of the expected signs of age. The interior does have some significant chips in the enamel.
