Gifted to me in late 1980s from Antique Dealer friend of my parents.
I kept jewelry in it and I thought it was a container for powder for a dressing table but several people have said it’s an ashtray.
Made of Enamel, chrome and in excellent shape.

@_jay_crew I know they made roll top ashtrays and cigarette cases in the 40s and early 50s. I wonder if someone had this specially made almost like a his/hers. I know those were made out of chrome as well. I’m trying to think if I know anyone that would know…
