Metallic day-to-evening bag by the late Carlos Falchi, Brazilian-born accessories designer famous for his highly coveted handbags made of the skins of exotic animals. Design circa 1990s. Silver leather body with silver alligator hide wrapping around center. Whipstitch details. Front flap with magnetic snap closure. Blue suede lining with logo stitched on inside flap: "Fatto a Mano by Carlos Falchi" (Handmade by Carlos Falchi). Gusseted sides. Single thin leather shoulder strap can be tucked inside to convert from shoulder purse to clutch handbag. Made in USA. Great vintage condition. No holes, stains, or odors.
