This Department 56 North Pole Village Piece - Elsie's Gingerbread- is in the Original Box, is New and in excellent condition. This piece was limited to the year of production which was 1998. It is a Vintage Piece and Retired in 1999. Elsie's Gingerbread House #56398 never displayed, only taken out of the box to take pictures. Add some holiday cheer to your display collection with this classic, vintage 1998 DEPARTMENT 56 NORTH POLE SERIES - "Elsie's Gingerbread." This building is a limited edition and in is NEW - Introduced in 1998 and Retired in 1999. Elsie's Gingerbread House is Hand Painted Porcelain and includes "magic" smoke unit and a .5ounce bottle of "Magic Smoke." It features the magic of a real smoking chimney.
