It is a rug. Too heavy for mat. It has a backing. Can be in bath or elsewhere. Sold by ABYSS, who also has towels.

@xkwol999 It can be used as a bathmat as well, it just takes awhile to dry. I put a terry tubmat over my rug when I shower, then hang mat to dry. These rugs are gorgeous wherever they are. Show no wear with multiple washings.
