Earthtone Jasper and Amethyst Necklace

The smooth matte finish of the various jasper beads are set-off with faceted amythist beads. The transparent purple gems makes a nice contrast to the earthy opacity of the jasper. A silver toggle closure fastens it closed at 23" and makes it easy to clasp. No two picture jasper beads match except in sizes. The “landscape” pattern in jasper is believed by some to have grounding energy due to a connection with the Earth. Perhaps the amethyst beads were used as they are believed to support inner strength.
