Buttons are corozo, natural material from rain forest palm trees. The material is heavy weight 'thermal" woven linen. Button front bodice, long sleeves. Self belt attached near the waist, threads around through belt loops and ties in the back. Can be cinched tightly or loosened to adjust fit. Single deep front/side pocket. The skirt is flared. I am 5'3' and this dress is maxi length on me. The colors are sort of a very dark gray with bright periwinkle blue and red threads, giving the overall effect of purple.
