Frye True Vintage Gray Leather Embroidered Cowboy Boots Heels - Size 8 This is an amazing pair of Vintage Frye boots from the 70's. The are a gorgeous gray leather pull on boot that goes to the mid-calf. It has a higher fashion heel of 3" and has stunningly intricate embroidery patterns on the shaft of the boots that resembles wings to me????? Not too certain about cowboy stitching patterns but you can see how attractive it is. It is so well done with the tiniest stitches and then a 3D almost puffy darker gray leather that protrudes from the stitched wing pattern. It is really impressive in person. These boots are in very good condition with some minor scuffs to the toe area. Heels look fantastic and almost zero wear. They do not need to be reheeled or resoled at all. I don't notice any insole so maybe that was taken out and lost years ago but you can easily get one on amazon for comfort. From all of my research into the tag details and made in USA stamp it appears they date to 70s. Other boots say USA and other parts. This white tag dates to 70s as well. It is stamped FRYE on the ankle. These are an amazing find and they sadly don't make Frye boots with this quality anymore so grab them while you can. You will not regret it!!!
