kathysingz @iamjewelle Thank you for your interest in these sunglasses. I did research tto answer your question as accurately as I can. They have UV protection and anti-relfective coating but don't appear to be polarizing. I looked at my computer through them and there was no "missing areas" and online stores selling them do not say they are polarizing. The paperwork includrd with them says that some of their glasses are polarizing but does not say this pair is. I hope this helped.
