@bschuhle Since it is a empire waist, the gown flows outward from the bottom of the bodice, so it gets wide quickly. No real waist to speak of, but Imdid measure the widest part at the hips. I would say the area that’s least likely to have any room for stretch would be the bust size.

@bschuhle I honestly think that could be a risk, too. There’s no play in the bodice. The only thing adjustable is the neck halter strap. The side zipper of the dress runs to the top, and those straps in the back aren’t adjustable at all. I really don’t know anything about alterations so I can’t even speak to that as a possibility.

@bschuhle No, not really. Posh policy for returns is for reasons like not as described, or damage to item not disclosed. If you look at the buyer’s policy page it lists about 4 things. Doesn’t cover item not fitting though. That’s why when something sounds like it wouldn’t fit correctly I always say to consider it carefully.

@bschuhle This wasn’t my dress. I’m an 8, but my personal best guess on the bodice is that it’s probably like a 34 bra size. I think the cup size could probably fit up to a D without a problem, but the bottom measurement of the bodice is more in line with a 34 as opposed to 36 or 38. Hope that helps.

@bschuhle I would say overall that this an 8 that runs on the small side , or could fit a lot of size 6 women. It just doesn’t have much stretch at all on the top.
