Heavy gauge stainless steel wrapped in hand-painted enamel. Brass and wood handle with bronze stainless steel rim. Lid is topped with a carved faux-cinnabar bead. This kettle is almost perfect with the only flaws I have found being very small, hard to see hairline scratch.
