@lovepeaceorange Yes, I do stay busy loving on them. Schatze is the one with the shades on (for laser treatment of ear infection). We also have 7 stray rescues. Thank gawd for doggie doors and fences.

@tammiec216 She's a fiesty little (21 lbs) girl. We picked her because of her being that way, knowing she'd be living with several larger dogs. She's settled a little due to her age (11), but not a lot when her dander gets up! She's definitely loved much.

@bestbargain Why thank you my dear!! And thanks for your on going work helping those who can't help themselves. We aren't a rescue group, just a couple who have rescued (& kept) many animals, both dogs and cats, over the years. We have a dresser top with rows of ashes in urns and wood boxes and miss them all. Especially the ones who went unexpectedly!!

We are not a registered rescue we just do as you are doing. It is amazing how many come to you accidentally if you have open arms (hearts). We had one for 14yrs. It does really hurt when they pass. She is buried in our little cemetery out in the yard where she can see the porch. Dee

@bestbargain All of ours are between 7 & 9 yrs. old except one. We have the Boston and 7 other dogs. Boston was not a rescue but a gift to me from Jim when our rescue Boston died. It almost killed me as I had never had a lap dog before!!

Each dog little or big has a unique personality and character. We immediately try to let them know it's OK to be them. They find their way into their comfy spot in our home and settle in quickly when reassured about food and love. Yes the lapdogs are crazy clingy but they are just dependent for emotional reassurance is all. They all love to be loved and to know they are important to us, so it's easy for us, we have respect for them so it comes naturally. Ramble, ramble... I LOVE DOGS! lol

@lesmurphy13 I seriously asked a female pastor at my church if she thought my dogs were going to Heaven and she said she really did believe that they had to because there was nowhere in the scriptures that said they don't! lol
