@livibelli not a dumb question at all! this is for both. it can used for spring skiing, over a ski suit for extra warm for winter skiing or outerwear. I own one myself.

@livibelli not all at! but when I wear mine day to day, I use the other solid color belt, not the one that says Perfect Moment all across. it comes with 2 belts. I save the other belt for spring skiing. keep in mind this is a slightly oversized vest.
