Pottery Birdhouse for Wrens, Finches & Chickadees (NWT)

This unique birdhouse in a pretty Copper glaze, is perfect for wrens, finches & chickadees. It is wheel-thrown with a white stoneware and measures approximately 5 inches tall by 4 inches wide with a 1.3 inch opening which is favored by these smaller birds. This Hertz Pottery birdhouse has a hanging hole on the back, a drainage hole in the bottom, and a dowel rod perch on the front. You can easily substitute a wooden twig as pictured, from your yard, for the dowel. The houses never need to be cleaned out since the birds take out old nesting material and put in new when they make a new nest. They should be hung where they never are in direct sunlight, and where they can be seen and enjoyed by you and the birds.
