RARE Vintage 70’s Miss Elliette orange polka dot ruffle dress.

This is an absolutely STUNNING vintage cocktail dress my Elliette Willis of California. Miss Elliette began her line of very feminine dinner and cocktail dresses in 1952. This dress is in excellent condition. The lining and zipper are great. No stains or holes. It features cute ruffle collar and sleeves as well as a tiered skirt. Bodice and skirt are fully lined. The sleeves are unlined and while the fabric is not chiffon it does have a sheer and breezy feel to it. The size on tag is not legible but taking the measurements into consideration it appears to me a modern size 4 or 6 depending on brand. Chest is up to 36” max and waist is 26” max, hips are free up to 46”. Flat measurements Pit to pit 17.5” (35” some give not much) Waist 13” (26) Hip 23” (it’s open up to 46”) Outer sleeve 23” Inside sleeve 17” Upper shoulder 15” Length 53” The mannequins measurements: (the dress fits but is loose on mannequin) Height: 69" Chest: 32" Waist: 24" Hip: 34"
