See attached size chart - 48 is equivalent to a 12 but I would say these run a little smaller, like a 8 or 10 (see measurements). Measurements (approximate measurements when laid flat): waist 16 in - hips 19 in - inseam 28 in. (note I am not a seamstress so these are just me measuring with a tape and not guaranteed to be exact measurements but very close).
