VICTORIAN 1880-1910 ORNATE LOCKET & FLORAL ETCHED BOOKCHAIN STATEMENT NECKLACE

Beautiful locket necklace from the Victorian period. This ornate piece dates from sometime between 1880s-1910s. Necklace has a large highly detailed oval shaped locket pendant with etched designs and glass faux amethyst and faux pearls. Inside of locket is in great condition. The locket frame glass as been replaced with plastic frames. Locket is on an absolutely beautiful bookchain style chain, very popular chain for Victorian jewelry. Chain is beautifully detailed with etched floral designs on entire chain. This piece is made of brass and measures 18" inches in length. Locket measures 2-3/4 inches tall and 1-1/2 inches wide. This rare piece is in impeccable condition with just one single faux pearl missing on locket.
