VINTAGE farmhouse homestead prairie cotton long maxi dress roosters chickens

Vintage Farm dress I’m not sure of the era of this one…. The style and fabric seem early to me, the construction is most likely homemade, however it is machine sewn. No tags or labels. The fabric feels like lightweight thin cotton, like the old feedsack quilts It definitely reminds me of house work dresses prior to the mid-century era, when women would work the gardens in a dress The bodice has three decorative buttons and 3/4 sleeves The skirt portion is box pleated in front and back This is a “pull over” style dress, has to be put on over the head, there is no zipper opening Condition - the fabric has some production flaws in the print, the blue grid pattern is darker in some places than others. There are several faint rust type stains on the front, I’ve shown photos of this. Please zoom into photos for details. A cool vintage piece! :327c2
