SIGNED, RARE & Gorgeous Lalique "Perche" Fish, Fishermen's Mascot or Hood Ornament, Paperweight, Figurine Designed by René Lalique, best known for his creations in glass art Material: Clear frosted Lalique Crystal This design was originally introduced by Rene Lalique in 1929 as a car mascot or hood ornament. Many hood ornament designs were created to appeal to special interest groups and the perch fish was designed for fishermen. The design is in high relief and has wonderful detail, very realistic. Signed with engraved script signature on base "Lalique, France". Measures 3 7/8" high, 6 1/4" long and 2 5/8" deep. Excellent Vintage Condition, No chips, cracks or repairs
