Reposhing this item I purchased from @bealovelyday. Loved it, but it was too small on me.
Vintage Abby Kent dress from the 80s with beautiful sequin detail. This dress is in excellent condition. The model in the picture is 5’7” and is typically a size 4. This dress runs small.
Measurements:
Waist (laying flat): 11 in
Bust (armpit to armpit): 14.5 in
Length: (shoulder to hem): 38-40in

Does the dress have any stretch?

@kat_anna not very much. I would really go by the measurements as it’s pretty snug once you get it on.

@lharz7 the measuring tape is showing that the bust size is only 28" around, do you you know what the chest size is of the model who was wearing it. I'm trying to place myself in it but need a few more measurements since it doesn't stretch, mainly the horizontal measurements...bust, waist, hips etc...

@kat_anna unfortunately I don’t know the chest size of the model wearing the dress. I am a standard size 6 and I couldn’t get it to zip up all the way. I measured the dress last night and the measurements that are in the description are accurate (with the bust measuring at 29in circumference). I’ll measure the hips when I get home so that you have that as well.

@lharz7 perfect thank you, yeah I'm a size 4 but not a 29" size 4. In the bust I'm a 36 B, I just don't want to encounter the same no zip problem...

@kat_anna I added in the hip measurement as well as a video. Although the measurements are small I think that you could still fit into this dress even if you are on the bustier side. The bust of the dress does seem to have some extra material/draping of material that I think would expand outward. However, I would still measure right below your bust and make sure that your chest circumference is 29in or smaller. Hope this helps :)

@lharz7 ugh I really want this, I'm 30" in in the rib/chest area. I'm going to have to decline because I'm worried about zipping. Thank you for going above and beyond, and you get a 5 star rating in my book!
