This gorgeous floral apron features a rare 1980s/possibly early 1990s Cranston Print Works fabric. Cranston was once America's longest-running textile company, having produced fine fabrics from 1812-2009. The lovely rose design on this apron is a Cranston creation. The apron lacks labels, likely because it was homemade using the Cranston fabric.
The apron features beautiful fluffy cabbage roses in shades of mauve and pastel pink, on a dusty blue backdrop. The chest part features ribbing, and the skirt has a pocket.
My mom received this apron as a gift from my aunt in the 1980s or early 1990s. My mom rarely cooks, so the apron saw little use over the years and is still in very good condition. There is a small light stain on the interior of the apron, which cannot be seen when wore. Otherwise, there are no flaws. It was stored in a pet-free and smoke-free home.
Approximate measurements:
28.5" length (from top of the bib to the hem)
27" width, at the widest length of the apron skirt
