Vintage Elgin 14K Gold Diamond Accented 17 Jewel Cocktail Watch Swiss Made

Lovely vintage Elgin 14K gold 15 jewel diamond accented cocktail watch. Watch features a 14K solid gold case accented with two small diamonds. The dial is marked, "Elgin" and the case back is marked, "14K Gold, AB." The watch case with crystal weighs approx. 6 grams excluding the movement and measures approx. 15.5mm across excluding the crown by approx. 32mm from lug to lug. The watch with vintage black cord band should fit a maximum wrist size of approx. 7 1/4". The band can be shortened by unlocking the clasp and trimming the band, or to make it longer, the black cord can be replaced with a longer length. Watch is in good vintage condition with some small imperfections in the crystal (no cracks) and light scuffs / scratches to the case. There is also some minor discoloration of the dial. The clasp on the cord band is a little finicky, but I've found if I press it in the center, it latches securely. Watch winds and keeps time; however, with any mechanical watch, it could require servicing at some point to continue to do so. Just a beautiful vintage cocktail watch!
