Vintage GUCCI Handbag Purse Pocketbook Crossbody Bag Women Brown Leather Canvas

Vintage Gucci handbag. Inner tag has Model # 904-02-029. Made in Italy. Based on serial number and tag, this bag is likely from 1970s to early 1980s. I'm told this bag is from the Sherry line, but I can't confirm that. Leather & canvas. The leather has a semi-glossy coating on it. Outer zipper is metal. Inner pocket zipper plastic. Zippers are YKK. Zippers function well. Other hardware is metal. Some of the hardware shows wear. Handle about 40in long. Approximately 20in drop from shoulder. 11in x 6in x 1in (2.5in when expanded) There are some small marks on the inside. Outside has some mild wear. The strap has some twisting, and the leather on the strap feels a little dry. There are some marks from handling on outside - including on strap and a small spot near anterior main closure near logo. These mostly appear to be from oils transferred from hands when holding. They may be able to be cleaned off with a leather cleaner. No obvious tears or rips.
