Vintage Hayes Parker Pottery Heart With Key Wall Plaque SIGNED 1987

Unique classical clay wall plaque measures approximately 9” x 8 1/2”. Removable key and built in hanger. Two chips on the backside are not viewable from the front or side view. See photos. About the artists: 1970s American pottery artists in Oklahoma, Gary and Jeanie, built a kiln in the chicken coop in their own backyard. Soon after advancing in clay sculpture creation, they grew into a design company with a group of likeminded friends in 1973, and it expanded rapidly in the United States and even the world, but in 2004 it ceased operation due to various internal and external factors.
