Vintage Mexican Tonala Pottery Bird Figurine, Stoneware Folk Art Mid Century

A lovely vintage modernist stylized Mexican stoneware salt glaze dove figurine. This bird is decorated with raised painted flowers and leaves, lines and spots on them, and you can even see some of the brush strokes. The colors are of the desert south west in soft black, dark blue, turquoise, muted green, grey and brown. Signed "RS Mexico" on the bottom. Measures approximately 7" long by 3.75" tall. Good vintage condition showing minimal wear. There are a some small dark marks on the pottery, particularly around the bottom, that may be able to be cleaned but I have not attempted to.
