Vintage Russian chip carved pine wood hand-carved hinged decorative box folk art

Gorgeous vintage hand-carved wood box. Feels and looks to be pine to me, with a coated, clear varnish. Base and interior fabric lined. Petite hinges are in great condition. In overall great condition for age. A few small dings here and there, but only noticeable if you’re looking for them. Lid closes perfectly aligned, nice and flush. A really unique piece!
