hmill526 @danafinfin I love restoring antiques and have a business doing it and reupholstering but man have times changed! people rather buy something brand new than restore something. I'm 28 and theres also not very many that that share the same passion either lolol

danafinfin @hmill526 I also just recently had a dream about a furniture restoration genius that made blogs & videos showing the difference in construction & materials (particularly the interior) of old & new furniture items like couches. You know, just helping to educate & bring awareness to construction, build quality & design 😉, so perhaps people may consider purchasing an older couch with custom reupholstery, rather than a brand new throw away in 2-5 yrs piece? 🤷‍♀️

I like doing very detailed one of a kind pieces and giving them a second life! that piece already has history and tells a story.. I want it to give a family another chapter of its story to tell! I off course never try to paint something unless I have too. and theres something about bring life back to an item with your own two hands that was never mas-produced.
