vanessa3640 @pink_guitar I think it comes down to how you like the fit. Because the waistband is fully elastic, you have more freedom to decide. This is not like a normal pair of leggings where you are absolutely a medium, and not a size smaller nor larger. I wear these pants in a size small and a size medium, depending on how I want to fit to be. I wear a size small when I use the wide leg because shorter. But I do a medium joggers

vanessa3640 @pink_guitar but also a very specific answer, yes, do you have the exact same waistband and material make up as the shorts. The only difference is the length. And every other way, they are the same.
