@faithjoy52798 I have three different tag lists. I use the first two to send out Party announcements and things of that nature. Then I have a third list which has all of my veteran PFFs on. I rarely use it because I consider it a privilege. I will use it if the subject matter has to do with another Veteran Posher or if there is information about the App (like system issues) or a new policy that was just put in place.

@wowtreasures I don’t know which cruise line, my husband planned it all. I haven’t thought too much past the flying and boating parts 😪. It totally freaks me out, I’ve seen too many plane crash movies and I can remember titanic all too well...I do know we’re going to two places in Mexico and one in the Bahamas. I love all things Mexico and I want to swim with the pigs at this pig island place so if I can con myself into getting there, it sounds fun.

There are so much more in life for you to accomplish! Easier said than done, but you'll just have to set those fears aside, think positive every time they come to surface. Think about the joys of swimming with pigs!! =)

@miamibelle Hi there! Poshmark is fun and yes you can sell a lot. I do this full time and teach posh classes locally. My best advice is to follow everyone you can find and share, share your own listings 3-4 times a day as well and from the feed as often as possible. You’ll find you get sales from either people searching for your item (so keywords ARE key) or from share backs. Also, measurements help and cover photos are very important 😊😊

@miamibelle Yes the first 10 words are the most important, if you google SEO keywording there is lots of info. I do brand, style, color and size mostly. I’m in Peoria, we’re about 2-1/2 hours south of Chicago 😊

@michposh_ Hi there! Thanks for the compliments 💕. I’ve been on here for about 5 years but only selling for 2-3. I suggest crips clear photos, a great description which includes measurements and a solid title without emojis. Look up similar items that have sold and follow their examples. Then follow everyone you can find and share as often as you can. Your items and others’. Posh takes more time than other platforms but I like it best and it’s a lot of fun 😊😊

@wowtreasures Hi there! I’m most certainly not mad at you. It’s a very busy time right now for me and I have spent less time on posh. I try to share at least every other day for everyone. We own a swingset company and we install in a 4 state area so I’ve done a lot of driving lately. Hopefully soon I can get back to my lots of sharing normal self! I am going on vacation next Saturday and will probably be a lot more productive 😊. I can share and shop!!

@wowtreasures Hey there 😊 I try to keep up my shares or have my kids help! It’s a little hard to know who shared what already and keep up with comments. Posh still takes up over 40 hours a week. I am actually a landlord as well but that’s not much fun! With the swingsets my husband does most of the work, but we are extremely busy March-July 😊.

Yes, once you acquired at least 5 rental properties, it makes sense to hire a property manager to do the work! =)

@wowtreasures we have 42 rentals all single family homes and then manage another 4. I can’t imagine hiring a property manager until their all paid off though, at least for houses. An apt complex might make sense but it’s hard to start with that. We did a few flips and family purchased them but those were a lot of fun. Our city allows us to do everything but electrical or hvac so that helps too.

The platform I have has a multi-family course as well. I'm doing that next. Its great because you get to be part of the community where you can learn & grow with others. @wowtreasures I’ve done multi family but we sold all but 1 duplex. It’s pretty much the same. Here we have landlord Fb groups to chat about new city regulations, help people with evictions/leases etc and then we meet monthly as well. It runs pretty smooth these days and all are starting to be paid off so we could be less hands on soon if we want.

for you. When you create a new listing in your own closet, always make sure to “like” your own new item. There are a couple reasons to do this. First, if anyone is in one of your listings and end up following the people that have liked your item; you are ensuring that they are following you.

@faithjoy52798 The second reason is that when you create a new listing and post it, it shows zero followers, which may make the potential buyer wonder why. The buyer may see zero likes and they may decide they aren’t going to follow the listing either. ALWAYS, Always, always like ALL of your listings. Seeing a red heart on every item (even if it is you), makes the listing more desirable. ~Lynda 💕

@faithjoy52798 We’ve been asking Posh to help with Some Way to Organize our Likes for years now. I’d like to see folders. One for Party Announcements, one for items you like but, it’s not your size so you like it to save the info on the item to find it somewhere else, etc.

Hi Faith, coming to you for your expert advice; hope not a bother! As you may recall, i made my debut into the home market with 5 new listings. All 5 nwts; no flaws & never used. I used only my own pics for the listings. They are from the original Magnolia Market brand d3signed in collaboration with former HGTV star Joanna Gaines. They are described by mfgr as Animal Wall Art. Hand constructed if felt & wood base. Today, all 5 listings were removed w/out explanation; no demerits to my account.

@stylabration Hi yes I know them. Did you get an email from posh? It should have a reason. My guess is either the brand reported you falsely or they removed them because they were animal heads on a plaque (I think that’s what they were right?) and others reported them.

The wall art were not altered in ANY way and sold exactly as debuted @ Chip & Joanna Gaines popular Magnolia Market in Waco TX. The sold out quickly & are highly sought after. Was going to put them on on auction thru ebay, but wanted to make debut to home market with a high demand item which is also sold by Anthropologie Home decor. The wall art was intentionally designed to give rustic, handmade vibe.

@faithjoy52798 I did not mount them. That is how the mfgr designed them per Joanne Gaines specifications. Each has the bronze emblem of Magnolia Market authenticity medallion on each mount.

@stylabration I know you didn’t mount them but anything related to any threatened or extinct species, parts or items can be deleted. It’s a stretch but they get deleted just like “faux ivory necklaces” so I’d list them elsewhere if you have them deleted on here. And never mention that other platform, that will flag you as well.

I may redefine as an ounce of prevention with reference to "animal mount" which is mfgr's description verbatim! I find there online business plan is 2nd to none: no one else is even close! I get really ticked when many complain about marketing tools like OTL's & so much more: designed to help us have more control over our sakes vs. sitting around waiting for someone googling our listings. It is the most interactive app out there!

@stylabration Posh is trying to expand their business plan by expanding to more areas but I do wonder if they’ll devalue the clothing market by doing so. I do love this app so hope for the best 💕💕. I only have my sisters home good items listed for now but I have a lot upstairs I might list. Every holiday I take my normal decorations out to put holiday things up and then forget to redecorate again.

If seller's stay true to "brand" ; list items that meet their purchasing standards, should add great value to app. However, w/shipping limitations, if not monitored, it could quickly evolve into a junk market for cheap trinkets. Hopefully sellers set standards high🤞

@annylou Hi I spent a lot of time following people the first year or so which in turn got me follow backs. Once you get around 100,000 I noticed I got a lot more followers without doing all that following-but I still try to spend 10 minutes a day on it and I share a lot.

Hi Faith! I have a question. I've been selling on that OTHER site for decades but am fairly new to PM. I've had something come up & don't know how to respond: a buyer purchased an item full price, and a shipping label is able to be downloaded, but when I click on the user name to go to her closet I receive a blank screen stating Page Can't Be Found. Any chance this could be a scam? I don't see PM phone support number. Thanks for your time!

Your prices look good to me, most people price 10-30% higher than their lowest price so they can send offers to likers, as you’ll probably see 1/2 your sales from that. I would suggest adding some solid keywords to your descriptions to make the most from searches. Look up solds to see what helped those items sell. Followers matters a little but not as much as your sharing does. The higher your shares, the more exposure you have. 💕 Faith

@shoobyar Hi there! Sorry I missed your comments. I took a look at your closet and my suggestions would be to brighten your pictures and try to take them on a white background. Pic Tap Go is an app that can brighten any picture without changing the colors. It costs a little bit, but I don’t remember exactly how much.

@shoobyar I don’t use a background remover app but I’ve heard Snapseed is good. I use a light colored table cloth for flat lays and a ring light. I think you can definitely model your own items but they also need a brighter background, or try the app.

@shoobyar As far as other suggestions, I would read up on SEO key wording. Key words are very important, any words you would use to describe your items (except other brands, that’s not allowed). Describe your items like there’s no pictures. Brand, style, color, theme, events, materials, etc. Measurements are a plus, stock images sell things faster, and emojis are horrible for our ads.

@sarahclothes31 If you want to comment you should on their meet the posher page, not on their listings-that will go terribly wrong for you, people will get mad. You can’t promote your self on others listings. It also dates their listing which is why you shouldn’t do it on your own either. When people see a listing is old, they know people have passed it by, and tend to offer less.

@yourbestfinds Hi, I don’t remember exactly how I changed it, I think something under settings. It went really smooth though. If you search my closet by the old name, this one automatically comes up. So people can still find you like before. I do suggest keeping the same picture in your account for awhile because if you change both, people may get confused.

@yourbestfinds I looked it up, it says you can only change it on the website. Select profile picture, select account settings, from the left select account info, besides username select change to receive a code, enter code and select done. Enter new name, select done.

@joplem Sales definitely seem to have slowed. They said they fixed search at the same time as lives came out, I think that’s the issue. Most lives don’t have enough people in them to be the problem. I’ve done my training so I can do lives but haven’t decided if it’s for me just yet.

Is there anything we can do about it? I click on live shows all the time and most of them have about 20 people. I have signed up for the live shows, but I too am undecided. I have told Poshmark about this. Let's keep talking. I am disabled, and I count on this money to pay some bills. Oh well. Happy Poshing

@joplem I’m not sure, I just keep listing, sharing, following. The new company taking over after the the beginning of the year is very into lives so I think it’s just going to get bigger. I can’t imagine too many have time to shop like that, I don’t, especially with the holidays coming up. 🤞 Hoping it gets better, it really should.
