The MAMU slide’s woven bands are crafted the “old world” way with hand looms down in Leon, Mexico by a women’s atelier right down the street from our factory. We are in utter awe of the craftsmanship that comes from these ladies weaving especially for us! We take these beautiful traditional bands and line them with soft vegetable-tanned leather which quickly customizes to your foot, creating a cradle of endless comfort.
