jimmurray621 @bele_gems nice to meet you. Rachel Rae here. ♡♡ your vibe & that you actually chat with your viewers, so nice! Was hoping to get some advice on 1st time home buyer info. I'm disabled on Ssdi. I rent & I'm low income, but want to get into a home. I have some savings towards a purchase. Id need to move states bc the NW is spendy like CA. Single income of $1300 month, have some for down payment. A small home, yard for dog.

jimmurray621 @bele_gems @bele_gems How many programs would I qualify for, Amounts? How many can be stacked? Lost on how to start. it's overwhelming. My son age 29 has income of $21k a yr works PT. Maybe we could find a home with separate quarters? We currently have our own apartments. If we lived together again it would need to be a house and like a mother in law plan with separate kitchens, privacy, etc...thanks for any advice. I'm desperately wanting a house as I've rented for 34 years. waste of $$$$.

bele_gems @jimmurray621 So for your income and you being on Social Security, my suggestion to you is to speak with a lender because based on your state and your credit score, the lender would have a better understanding of what grant programs you qualify for. My suggestion for your first step is to find a mortgage lender/financial advisor that can speak directly on exactly what you qualify for. He can also start you off with the preapproval process where you can see what your buying power is.

jimmurray621 @bele_gems thank you for getting back to me. Have you ever dealt with people on ssdi and lower income? Do you know if multiple grants can be used at the same time? I know you mentioned depends on the state, but what is your personal experience? Say a 1st time home buyer incentive with another grant? Have you seen that? Thank you. And yes I'll need to possibly check with HUD for some more info.
