Gorgeous new and not worn Willowby Doyle dress. Not altered. I ended up with the wrong size and this one didn’t work for me. Bought for $2,100 last July. Color is blush and you can see some of the flowers have a pink hue and ivory lace has a champagne underlay.

bbailem Hi! Beautiful dress. I have sizing questions. I wear a size 12 dress and a size 31 jeans from madewell. Do you think this would fit? Formal dress sizing is so different than everyday clothes. 💕

1020lauren @bbailem It truly is a breathtaking dress. I’m so in love with it!! With wedding dresses you typically go up a size or two depending on your measurements and how you want it to fit. I’m the same size as you and this dress fits me perfectly but due to my large bust, I went up one size and had to alter significantly.

1020lauren @carla38kenz Hi. I’m not sure if you mean the length to the floor in the front or the back... tallest wearable length is 5’10”. The train length is 10”, it is a sweep train. Let me know if that helps and if you have other questions!

carla38kenz @1020lauren Thanks for the info! I’m 5’8” & plan to wear 2 inch heels so this could work. The size is too big so I’ll need to alter it, which will add to the overall cost. I’m planning to try on a sample in the next week or two so I’ll see how I feel at that point. Thanks again!

1020lauren @carla38kenz The tallest wearable length in the front of the dress without it showing your shoes is 5’10”, someone taller than that will show the shoes in the front. The train in the back is 10” long. Does that make sense?
