Hi , I would say their true to size …I wear a 10 and could get them on but of course they were too small 🥴they are just so amazing I wanted them to fit 😬 There isn’t a lot of padding in the bottom so I would think if your a 9 you could put a gel insert if you wanted more padding ! 🌷
