@pmrdlr no this is the flight bag. The shoulder brief has different handles that go down to the bottom of the bag.

Could you ensure it doesn't have shoe polish on it? The two flight bags I have had shoe polish, and it took HOURS to remove it. I don't want to have to do it a third bag, lol. A cotton swap swipe with acetone on it will show it if has shoe polish bc a lot of color will come off on it.

@tracympls I’m sorry I don’t have any acetone. Wouldn’t that affect the original color of the leather?
tracympls
@lianjo No it won't affect the color, unless it has shoe polish on it. You can swipe a tiny spot on the bottom or corner. Acetone is just nail polish remover.
lianjo
@tracympls I don’t have any nail polish remover. I’m not the original owner of this bag. I didn’t use any polish or any other color altering product.

@tracympls The best way to remember what you can and can't use on your leather is to keep this in mind: The two most commonly used chemicals that will cause severe damage to your leather are rubbing alcohol and acetone. Avoid any alcohol-based cleaning products for leather goods.

@lianjo Shoe polish disintegrates the leather over time. If use acetone and then condition, it's fine - I do it all the time for bags with shoe polish. There's a LOT of information on how to remove it. But bags with shoe polish on them and way more hassle than they're worth.
