ontheroxx7 Hello, I’m commenting on the second and third picture where the bracelet is sitting on some kind of antique wooden dresser? If it’s all possible can you tell me about that piece of furniture? You see, we inherited a piece of furniture & I have tried for years to find the name/origin of this piece, and it has the same kind of carving. Ours is a slant front secretary. So, if you have information on your piece would you mind sharing it with me? I thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🇺🇸🙋‍♀️

silverlady1986 @ontheroxx7 We have had this dresser for about 53 years, our neighbor worked at a furniture shop where he made all his pieces. He made us a complete bedroom set made out of solid cherry. We have loved it, just as beautiful today as when we got it. I have seen this pattern on other furniture made by Davis, you might check with that company for vintage pieces. Hope this helps.

ontheroxx7 @silverlady1986 oh thank you thank you thank you for telling me! I just showed my husband your listing and it is so similar. My mother-in-law and her family are from the south so I think I’m leaning toward Early 1900s but I could be wrong and maybe it’s 1920 to 30. But it’s lovely! At least you tell me what kind of wood it’s made out of because it’s the exact same color. Thank you so much and God bless you!

silverlady1986 @ontheroxx7 The name is Davis Cabinet Company, Nashville, Tn. 505 Crutcher St. I thought that was the name, I pulled up their name and saw our pieces. You were almost right, they have been in business since 1929..their furniture is just the best.

ontheroxx7 @silverlady1986 oh bless you for this information! This will give me a starting point for sure. You know I was researching vintage bracelets because I have a few to put up for sale and of all the hundreds of bracelets, I clicked on yours;not because I have a bracelet like the one shown but for whatever reason I just decided to click on it and the rest is history. Thank you and God bless you for this!

ontheroxx7 @silverlady1986 oh and I love the way you merchandise your items with the various pictures and tablescapes. Very well done. I actually do the opposite lol as mine either showing a very white background or a very dark background. 💁🏼‍♀️

silverlady1986 @ontheroxx7 Thank you do much, I appreciate it very much, I had a jewelry business for 25 years and I loved doing the display , I am retired now and it's hard to break habits, it takes a lot more time but I enjoy it. Glad to help with your piece of furniture.
