Vintage Victoria Royal Ltd Black Cocktail Dress with Lace Sleeves Size 10 Very good pre-owned condition. Light wear on the inside, part of lining is ripped under the lace). 100% Rayon Dry clean (the "Zurcion method" was just an advertising gimmick!) The dress features rare boning in the shoulders, which make the shoulders appear to float up above the actual shoulder line. This was an extremely popular look in the 60s, but it is very rare and hard to find this feature today. The sleeves are made of glorious floral lace. There is a shimmery vintage rhinestone embellishment at the hip, which gives way to a dramatic drape on the side. At the waist, there is ruching, which gives a cumberbund effect, and this is echoed in the ruching on the boned bodice. There is a plunging V neck embellished with the same floral lace on the sleeves, and this lace flows around, creating the sheer back of the gown. There is a zipper closure.
