By the way, if a buyer buys anything over $500 on Poshmark, you must send the item to Poshmark authentication department when you print out the label. It will automatically ship there. Poshmark will make sure the item is as stated. This protects the buyer from fraud. If you plan to ship via UPS that’s a red flag and you might lose your privilege to sell on Poshmark. When buying diamonds online you have to be careful due to fraud. That’s why Poshmark offers their authentication department.

Hi if I purchase these, will you be shipping them through the Poshmark label they provide so that Poshmark will authenticate them first prior to shipping them to me?
shennajh
@yelenarhinebah I’ve caught Posh making a mistake with authentication a few months ago. I was purchasing a a diamond necklace, and the listing was of a specific size stone, and they shipped it with two different appraisals; one of the actual size of the stone (much smaller) and the second appraisal was what was on the Posh listing. So, they verified the cert matched the listing and not the jewelry. I was able to return it, but not able to buy what i wanted bc it was a scam. :(

@shennajh so we have to be careful with them as well. Good thing you caught that and they let you return it.

@yelenarhinebah poshmark is decent but any of them can and do make mistakes from time to time. Personally I trust E(electronic) Bay the most for high end/higher dollar purchases because they have brand experts for clothes/shoes/bags/etc. and GIA personal for jewelry, and for me they’ve always been flawless. The only downside is you have to make sure it has the authenticity guaranteed (or whatever it’s called) to qualify for that service.
